History:
1115:   Dedication of the original church
1827:   Churchwardens summoned to appear before Consistory Court in Brecon on grounds that they let the church fall into disrepair
1833:   Rebuilding of the church in the Gothic Revival style by Humphrey Allen, then curate of the parish
1867:   Extension of the chancel to the present apsidal form
2006:   Start of an extensive restoration programme (re-roofing, repainting, installation of toilets, kitchenette and a new central heating system completed by 2018, further improvements planned)
