Noteworthy
  • Oldest known wall fresco in England (c. 1170, restored 1869 and 1989) and largest wall painting of its type in northern Europe (5.26 x 3.40 m), showing the “Ladder of Salvation of the Human Soul”, together with Hell and Purgatory
  • Stone coffin lid dated about the 12th cent. and the broken original door step in the porch
  • Board with the names of the Rectors of the church dating back to 1304
